- ABE ALLEY HAS BEEN A DJ ENTERTAINER SINCE 2004. HE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN HUNDREDS OF WEDDINGS, AND A COUNTLESS NUMBER OF CELEBRATIONS.
- PROFESSIONALISM AND PERSONALITY IS THE #1 THING ABE BRINGS TO THE TABLE AT EVERY SINGLE EVENT.
– HISTORY AND BACKGROUND –
THE START – IN 2004, AJ’S BAR AND GRILL IN MACHIAS NEEDED A DJ FOR THEIR BAR. SO THE OWNER ASKED ABE IF HE WOULD LIKE TO PLAY MUSIC FOR DANCE NIGHTS, USING THE IN-HOUSE EQUIPMENT. ABE AGREED TO DO THE JOB AND THIS WOULD BE THE START OF BRANCHING OUT INTO THE PUBLIC WITH HIS ENTERTAINMENT SKILLS. WORKING TWO NIGHTS A WEEK, AND GETTING PAID $50 PER NIGHT, THIS WAS A GREAT WAY TO GET STARTED.
THE FIRST WEDDING – (2004) AFTER WORKING FOR THE BAR AND GRILLE FOR A COUPLE MONTHS, ABE WAS ASKED TO DO HIS FIRST WEDDING RECEPTION. THE FIRST WEDDING RECEPTION WAS VERY SMALL, MAYBE 50 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. THE EQUIPMENT ABE USED WAS 1990’S HOUSE STEREO STUFF………. SUCH AS PIONEER 3-WAY TOWER SPEAKERS, A 24 CD CHANGER, AND A RADIOSHACK MIXER WITH A MICROPHONE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, TIMES HAVE CHANGED ESPECIALLY IN THE AUDIO EQUIPMENT WORLD.
ON ANOTHER NOTE, FOR THIS WEDDING RECEPTION ABE MADE $50 FOR THE NIGHT. 🙂 THE REST IS HISTORY… AND AFTER 300 WEDDINGS LATER, HERE WE ARE!
